FAQs

To make sure you’re comfortable and familiar with our studio facilities, all studio users will be required to complete an induction session with our Studio Coordinator. This will also allow us to note the unique requirements for your podcast, like the number of mics and any set changes. Once your induction has been completed, you will be invited to register to our booking platform, where you can book single or recurring sessions. Payment is accepted via credit card. On the day of your booking, you can use the facilities at Acast Studios London like the production desks and refreshments. The Studio Coordinator will assist you at the start of your session, and will remind you when your session is about to end.

No, all of our studios are BYOP – ‘bring your own producer’! Acast’s Studio Coordinator will greet you and ensure your studio is ready for you and your guests, including cameras, mics and lighting. But after you hit record, it is your responsibility to have a sound engineer or vision-mixer if needed. The more information you can give us in your booking and in your induction, the better prepared we can be for your studio booking so your setup is ready to go as soon as you arrive.

Yes, you’re welcome to use Acast Studios London from 9am to 5pm on the day of your recording. Take advantage of the desks and sofa areas on the ground floor, use our Wi-Fi, and help yourself to refreshments from the podcaster fridge and coffee machine. However we don’t separate meeting rooms or call booths available for private conversations, so please be aware that the ground floor of Acast Studios London may not be suitable for sensitive conversations.

All of our studios are on the ground floor, as well as our accessible bathroom facilities. If you or your guests have any accessibility needs, let us know ahead of your visit and we are very happy to accommodate your requirements.

All of our spaces are available Monday to Friday, from 9.30am to 5.30pm, excluding bank holidays. You must leave your studio as you found it within your allotted time, so please take this into account when you book. Some studios require a minimum booking time, to allow for the complexity of setting up the spaces and to avoid cross-over with other bookings.

We are exploring weekend and after-hours booking availability in the future. We will update this page if we make the studios available outside of working hours.

Studios 1, 2 and 3 are initially available exclusively for Acast-hosted podcasts, but we plan to make the spaces available to all podcasters later in 2025.

To use the Amazon Music studio, podcasts must be hosted with Acast. Let us know when you enquire whether you are hosted elsewhere, and our awesome support team will help you to move your show to Acast’s best-in-class hosting and monetisation platform.

The Photographic Studio will always be exclusively available for Acast-hosted podcasts.

In most cases this won’t be possible, but please enquire to acaststudioslondon@acast.com to see if we can accommodate your request.

Please have your own storage drives to take audio/video files with you when you leave. However, we recommend you use the SSDs and SD cards provided by Acast during your recording, to ensure correct settings for each piece of equipment. You are responsible for taking your storage devices with you and transferring any data you need before you leave.
